What a game! Glad to see our boys play two straight games with no major collapses! This was a great time for GGZ and Bennefield to finally start lighting the lamp again and I was glad to see Aaron Lee get a goal; I really think he's the unsung hero of this team.
If they can keep putting games like the last two (three out of the last four, to be honest) this team will be tough to beat, although I still think we have some needs on defense. We give up way too many shots per game.
But all in all, not too shabby! _________________ Blog: puddinman.wordpress.com |

We need to get rid of the dead weight that the rest of the team are carrying. Maybe the coach could sit up in the stands during a game and get a different perspective of the guys while in the heat of the battle who aren't performing to their supposed potential. In any case, congrats to the guys and may consistency be on their side tonight. _________________ common sense... it's a terrible thing to waste |

Can anyone explain to me why of the team total -53, these 3 players have a combined total of -38? That's 72% of this total AND two of these players are VETS. Also, why is Kanigan still out when he played only 5 games and had a goal and is a +1? Where is Seerey and when is he coming back? The game last night was a good game and I hope they keep it up. We have a great scoring threat in our first line. Our second line is doing a fantastic job, but our defense cannot give up 4-5 goals per game. We cannot expect for GGZ an Jesse to have 4 point nights every night. I have great faith in our coach and I'm sure he knows what he's doing, but it's frustrating to see them lose games that we all know they could have won. If we look at the standings, we can only imagine where we'd be if they'd won 3 or 4 of those games. We'd be in 3rd and nocking hard on the door for 2nd; And that, my friends, is what I would call a great improvement from last season. Good game, bees.
I didn't listen to the game on the radio, but followed it on PS.
It appeared that Wollard almost had us beat single-handedly, until, in the 3rd, he handed us the final nail to close their coffin. CC seems to be good at shooting themselves in the foot, much to our advantage.
Thanks, Woolard!

I was there at the game, the Bees played well and inched out the win. Corpus can beat Laredo any day of the week but when it comes down to the rest of the south, they just can't get a break. _________________ Proceed with extreme caution
