for four former IceRay fans? Now that the IceRays are out of the CHL me and my family plan to spend a few weekends at the Hive the upcoming season. We have always respected the Killer Bees and love to visit the Hive.I think the worst thing about Corpus leaving is it looks like the Bees and Bucks may be playing Odessa 15 times or so .Yikes.

This is just sad. Laredo was supposed to fold first, dammit!

Just kidding, I don't want any teams to fold. We will miss the IceRays for sure. What is going to be left of our league? Losing two Southern teams means a realignment for sure. I guess we'll see what shakes out after the Summer conference.

What a shame that the Ice Rayz folded. If there is a silver lining to any of this, it may be that some of the ex-Rayz players may be suiting up in Bees or Bucks uniforms. It surely wont be the same for Rays fans, but at least they'll have an ex-Rays player or two close by.

Would be fun to see say Beech or Quenneville in Rio. Hopefully some former IceRays end up here as it would make it a better for the IceRay fans who come to visit. It also remains to be seen how this IHL deal pans out and the impact on recruiting that brings.

Wow what a shame to lose the Rays and that arena. It really was so sweet for The Bees,Bucks and Rays being close for fans to travel and teams. My first ever game I watched when I first came to Texas was at the old rink in Corpus..I hope its a short time till hockey comes back there again!..I hope youth hockey will keep going. Its great for the parents to travel their and also to Laredo.....Well Thanks For the Good times Ray Fans..Keep supporting the Bucks & Bees!!.....DH.
