On joining the IceRays: "I wasn't too sure what was going to happen here. Before I signed with the Bees (last summer), Corpus was one of the places I was trying to get to. Of course, you know how the hockey world works and teams won't trade you to a team in their division. Now I get a chance to play with a team I wanted to and get a chance to get some revenge on the Bees, too."
On facing the Bees again: "You're always nervous playing your old teams, but it gives you a chance to come out with some wins and rub it in a bit and let them know they shouldn't have (gotten rid of you). Personally, it would be nice if (the trade) was kept quiet and they showed up and saw me on the ice on Sunday. Definitely, they'll be shocked."
On his bitter parting with the Bees in October: "What happened is done with. Things were done and said and I'm just kind of going with it. It's in the past and it happened. I'm not going to dig up old hatchets. I'm not saying I'm over it, but I kind of am. I already played them once with Allen and I just did my thing on the ice."
On playing with some of his old Youngstown mates: "The players (there) are a huge factor. I know Richards and Bennett and got to know guys like Powell over the years. It's going to make it easier to (join) the team. I already feel like I'm part of the team already without getting there. I can get on the ice and start playing and not worry about the little things."

So why do teams keep getting rid of Mr. Dulle? Is it because he's not better than the 6th Dman on their teams? If not, there must be another reason. Don't you think?
Teams can sign him now at the league minimum and give it a shot. If they were to trade for him they would have to take on the salary at the level he had here and nobody was willing to do that. That's how it was explained to me. |

Bee fans, we have bigger issues than Mr. Dulle. Like our friend Motown puts it: "ya es harina de otro costal". He's someone else's asset or problem. We did get something for him. We got future considerations. Why doesn't Brooks use that as a barganing tool and get someone else in here. Better yet, why doesn't he just get rid of the 'dead weight" and bring in players that want to play. Am I the only one that's seeing Bauman (-10) getting assists for the other team in almost evey game? What's the deal with Irving (-20)? He produces in one game and falls asleep in the next 5. Landolt is at -17 now. Why doesn't Kanigan plaly? It could not be any worse, could it? Where's Seerey? He couldn't do any worse than Bauman. Why is Brooks mixing the lines so much? With no changes being done, we are going no where fast! _________________ SPEAK SOFTLY, BUT CARRY A BIG STICK! |
